BREAKING REDSKINS NATION NEWS –
The Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has been fully cleared to participate in training camp by Dr. James Andrews.
He just announced it on his twitter account:
Doctors cleared me to practice. Coach is going to ease me in. Thank you for your support & See you in Richmond
— Robert Griffin III (@RGIII) July 22, 2013
Last week, NFL.com was reporting that Griffin might start the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. This was understandable, but we weren’t sure whether to believe that or not. We knew Griffin’s status was going to be determined by Dr. James Andrews before Training Camp started, so although it was an alarming prediction, it turned out to be just that… a wrong prediction from NFL.com. The reports of overreactions to RG3’s injury have been greatly exaggerated by national media all off-season long.
I don’t have to tell you what great news this is for Redskins Nation. Here at Blog So Hard Sports we will continue to keep you updated of training camp stories and RG3’s progress when we hear them.
