Otto 8

The debate between the Washington Wizards selecting Otto Porter Jr or Anthony Bennett was quickly resolved as the Cleveland Cavaliers selected Bennett with the first overall pick in the draft. After Orlando selected Victor Oladipo second, the choice for the Wizards seemingly came down to Otto Porter or Nerlens Noel.

As David Stern came out to announce Washington’s selection, he paused for a moment to semi-taunt the crowd saying “I can’t hear you,” letting them know they were not booing loud enough.

After what seemed like forever, he finally made the announcement.

With the third overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards select Otto Porter Jr.

And their was much rejoicing. We here (well most of us) at Blog So Hard were pulling pretty hard for Porter. We couldn’t be more excited to see what he brings to this team. Here are the photos of Otto’s big night, and as you can tell, he was very happy.

I think smiling is his favorite.
